Description

I was messing around with an OM1P and did the recent OTA update to 354 firmware. I logged in and and after some heavy browsing I finally showed up on my dashboard as a user. I then went ahead and blocked myself to confirm that feature was working as I wanted to see what the blocked user message would be displayed. After the om1p checked back into the dashboard I was blocked but I didn't see a blocked user message it took me back to the splash page. Another thing I noticed was I was still able to go on the internet and browse around in Secured pages httpS. I am not sure if VOIP or P2P programs continue to connect as I didn't try that. Also while browsing in secure mode while being blocked the dashboard show NO usage so it looked like I was blocked. Wondering how to I prevent blocked users from accessing any part of the internet might it be secured, voip, p2p, etc. Thanks

The blocked user message feature is coming very soon (hopefully this weekend) to the dashboard. It will then put the message on the splash page so they user knows they have been blocked and what to do about it.

Only port 80 is blocked by default. If you want to block all access, you have to check "block pre-authenticated users" on the SSID#1 tab.

It is top of the list after getting the OM2P wifi stable and deploying extra server resources.

No, it is called "blocked message". It is only available for the built-in captive portal, not coovaChilli.
